Choosing tiles and accessories
What is included in a Mahjong set?
Contents vary by product and selected option. Compare the tile count and named accessories on the listing. A bag, box, racks, pushers or mat is included only when that listing or option says so. Styling props in a photograph are not a packing list.
Are all listings complete American Mahjong sets?
Our main range is American Mahjong, but some traditional 144-tile listings are also available. Standard American play uses 152 playing tiles, including 8 Jokers. Check the actual tile breakdown before choosing a set for your group.
What is the difference between 152, 160 and 166 tiles?
A standard American playing set has 152 tiles. A complete 160-tile set adds 8 extras; a complete 166-tile set adds 14. The extras may be blanks or additional illustrated tiles, and their composition varies. Read the tile-count comparison.
Does a rules card come with the tiles?
The current National Mah Jongg League card is a separate purchase from our tiles. Obtain the card used by your group from the League. Learn what the card is for.
Shipping and tracking
Where does my order ship from?
Our current Shipping Policy states that orders ship from our partner workshop in China. Read the Shipping Policy for the full details.
How long do production and shipping take?
The general processing time is 1–3 business days. When a made-to-order or pre-order product lists a production time, that applies before dispatch. Shipping options, costs and estimates for your address appear at checkout. Production and transit are separate; estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates.
When is shipping free?
Our Shipping Policy offers free shipping on orders of $59.99 or more. Check the available options and final total at checkout.
How can I track my order?
Use Track Your Order after dispatch. If tracking has not updated or a parcel is delayed, contact us with your order number.
Returns and help
What if my order is damaged or I need a return?
Our Returns & Exchanges page gives a 7-day window after delivery. Unused, unopened items in their original packaging may qualify for a return or exchange. Damaged, defective or incorrect items are covered under the process on that page. Read the return conditions and instructions before sending an item back.
How do I choose my first set?
Use our first-set checklist to compare tile counts, dimensions, readability and accessories. If a specification is missing from a listing, ask us before ordering.
